James Cavanaugh & The Charm Of Hugo: Calendar

All I have to say is, Brother Dan knows some friggin kickin musicians. There was a fantastic quality of performances all evening long. Rich (drums) and I (on acoustic guitar) pulled off a 20 minute set of good clean fun, then got so many compliments, we're thinking of becoming a duo! ;-) This event was a complete success as over $6k was raised. My hat is off to event organizers Linda and Wishelle. Special thanks to Bob and Mark on sound for donating their time and talents. It sounded great on and off stage.

Okay, that was fun. First, we show up to set up for the gig, and the sound-guy, Pat is a really nice guy. During our soundcheck, we stop in the middle of a song and Pat says, "Impressive". Thanks, Pat! Then the event coordinator feeds us dinner at his sweet cabin with a deck overlooking Lake Almanor. Really nice. Then we play a really fun gig outside on a beautiful evening in a beautiful setting to a packed dance floor. Awesome! I'm hoping we get to come back next year. We stayed relatively sober and didn't break anything or cuss into the microphone, so our chances might be good!
